With PAX East 2019 now having wrapped over, the next biggest gaming convention in the United States this year will be that of E3, which is rapidly approaching in June. As such, one major gaming executive will be spending this week over in Asia to prepare for the show.Phil Spencer, the Head of Xbox, recently tweeted that he will be spending this next week in both Korea and Japan to talk to and visit various developers and publishers from each region. According to what Spencer said, the visit seems to be involved with E3 2019 and potential planning for what Xbox is set to reveal at the show."Always inspired by the great games these studios are delivering," Spencer said on Twitter. "Talking about E3 and getting input on future plans is always fun."Even though Xbox doesn't have as many direct ties to Japanese games like PlayStation does, Spencer and company have always made sure to spotlight upcoming eastern titles, especially during Microsoft's E3 showings. For example, last year Capcom's Devil May Cry 5 was revealed on stage at Xbox's E3 conference along with a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III and the unveiling of Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. Bandai Namco's Jump Force was also a major reveal during last year's briefing, too.As for what Xbox might show from eastern markets on stage this year, it's hard to say. Right now the only major murmurings we've heard about Microsoft's show this year is that it will reveal the next generation of Xbox hardware during its briefing. With PlayStation skipping out on E3 2019 though, you'd have to imagine more eastern publishers will opt to show their upcoming games on Microsoft's stage this year more so than in the past.Regardless of what happens, we only have a few more months left until we find out.
