As the first-ever live-action Star Wars TV series, The Mandalorian made a huge splash with its debut last year on Disney+, with no small thanks for its adorable star Baby Yoda. With the series about to kick off its next season this week, Microsoft has a surprise in store for fans of the acclaimed series that also happen to own an Xbox (or are getting one of the shiny next-gen Xbox consoles).

Just in time for the premiere of its second season, The Mandalorian is getting a special edition Xbox controller styled in the Star Wars universe. Featuring a slick metallic silver finish, the controller also features various markings and wear-and-tear to make it feel like it came right from the show, along with a monogrammed image of "The Child" (who we all know as internet superstar Baby Yoda) on the back of the controller.

The Mandalorian controller is available to pre-order now on the Microsoft Store for $159.99, which includes both the controller and a charging stand. At the moment there is no confirmed release date; the Microsoft Store page lists a release date of "December 31, 2020," but this is likely a placeholder until an official release date for the controller is confirmed. Microsoft has also confirmed that the controller will be compatible for Xbox Series X/Series S alongside Xbox One, PC, and support Android and iOS devices.

The Mandalorian: Season 2 will be debuting on Disney+ on October 30, 2020.
