The Head of Xbox Phil Spencer appeared on today's episode of Inside Xbox to make arguably the biggest announcement of the day and revealed that the fan fest XO will be returning this November.

XO18 will make its way to Mexico City in November as a way for fans of Xbox and the developers to come together and interact with one another. In addition, Inside Xbox's show for November will be live streamed from the event and will be the largest episode that has been done so far. This edition of Inside Xbox will last for two hours and Spencer promised that there will be new announcements from both the first-party in addition to those from third-party developers.

Personally, I love that XO is returning as it gives Xbox a great way to talk more about what they have lined up in the future. Whereas PlayStation typically has many events with both Paris Games Week and PSX coming in the Fall and Winter seasons, Xbox usually remains relatively quiet during this span, though that won't be the case any longer. It's also worth noting that Sony hasn't even announced that PSX will be taking place this year, so Xbox could have a monopoly on the fan conventions this year.

If you can't make it to Mexico City in person, Inside Xbox's stream will be taking place on November 10 from 2:00 until 4:00 CST.
