Xbox’s Phil Spencer Teases More Backwards Compatible Titles for Xbox One to be Revealed This Week
As one of the big shockers to come from E3 2015 this year, fans on Xbox One are eagerly awaiting to hear more news on what’s to come from the console’s backwards compatibility feature being introduced publicly this holiday: fear not, as more titles will seemingly be revealed this week.
In response to fan questions through Twitter, Xbox head Phil Spencer suggested that fans “should hear some news this week” on more titles that will be confirmed for Xbox One backwards compatibility, following the company previously indicating that over 100 titles would be available for the service this holiday.
Though the list is small at this point compared to the huge back catalog that Xbox 360 has enjoyed over the years, Microsoft is looking aggressively at fan feedback for the most requested titles, with a forum poll continuing to take suggestions and votes for titles to appear on Xbox One.
Currently, titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Red Dead Redemption are sitting high at the top of the list from fan requests, though we’ll just have to wait and see what other titles could be gracing Xbox One’s backwards compatibility in the future.
Backwards compatibility is currently available in beta for Xbox One Preview Program members, with a public rollout of the feature to begin this holiday.
@JoshLuck1995 Looks like you should hear some news this week.
