If you were one of the ten people on Earth worried about the disappearance of the controversial XCOM shooter, you can draw a breath of relief, as today 2K games re-revealed the game as The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, currently in development at 2K Marin.

The game will be released on August the 30th on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified will be a third person shooter and will put the ten people mentioned above in the waxed shoes of special agent William Carter as he investigates and works to cover up a series of incidents involving an alien threat.

Did we really need to see another classic strategy franchise turned into a shooter? I’ll let you (and the other ten that care) judge on that. While the jury is out you can check the new live action trailer and screenshots below.
