Today, during its E3 2017 Spotlight livestream, Nintendo showcased a new trailer of Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is in development at iconic Xeno developer Monolith Soft, and boasts a soundtrack with Xenogears composer Yasunori Mitsuda at the helm.

On top of the trailer, the game has been confirmed for release in this Holiday season 2017, effectively debunking rumors that saw it delayed to next year.

Grab some popcorn and check out the trailer below. For those who are interested in the Japanese voice overs, we also included the original version at the bottom of the post, so you can see which one you like most.

If you want to see more, you can also watch some really beautiful gameplay and screenshots, and if you squint at the end of the trailers, you'll notice that they mention the participation of Square Enix's own Tetsuya Nomura as a guest character designer.
