Nintendo Switch Exclusive Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Confirmed for 2017; Gets a Bit of Info, Screenshots

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch before the end of 2017.

Following the reveal during the Nintendo Switch presentation from Tokyo, Nintendo sent a press release including a bit of info for Xenoblade 2, that will be renamed Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in the west, following the same pattern as Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X.

First and foremost, we get the confirmation that the game will come this year, even if for now it just has a generic “2017” launch window. We also get a very short synopsis and the confirmation of the staff list.


In the latest entry of the Xenoblade Chronicles series, a new hero will seek out Elysium on an immense journey through a brand-new world.
