Following the Nintendo Direct presentation in which the house of Mario and Zelda announced the release date of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Nintendo released a press kit showing a nice batch of screenshots of the upcoming JRPG.

The screenshots showcase both gameplay and cutscenes, including a look at the Core Crystal menu that allows aDriver to bond with a Blade. We also get to take a gander at some of the lovely environments that are the bread and butter of developer Monolith Soft.

On top of the screenshots, we also get a more detailed glimpse at the custom Pro Controller, which will be priced at $74.99, and at the special edition, which will cost $99.99. It will include a sound selection CD, a special metal game case and a 220-page hardbound art book.

You can check them all out below. If you want to see more about Xenoblade Chronicles 2, you can also enjoy today's gameplay trailera lot more awesome gameplay from Gamescom, the trailer that Nintendo sowcased at E3, alongside some more lovely screenshots and even more gameplay footage.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will release worldwide exclusively for Nintendo Switch on December 1st, right in time for the Holiday break. Xeno games are fairly long, after all, so that's good timing.
