Following the Nintendo Direct presentation in which the house of Mario and Zelda announced the release date of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Nintendo released a press kit showing a nice batch of screenshots of the upcoming JRPG.
The screenshots showcase both gameplay and cutscenes, including a look at the Core Crystal menu that allows aDriver to bond with a Blade. We also get to take a gander at some of the lovely environments that are the bread and butter of developer Monolith Soft.
On top of the screenshots, we also get a more detailed glimpse at the custom Pro Controller, which will be priced at $74.99, and at the special edition, which will cost $99.99. It will include a sound selection CD, a special metal game case and a 220-page hardbound art book.
You can check them all out below. If you want to see more about Xenoblade Chronicles 2, you can also enjoy today's gameplay trailer, a lot more awesome gameplay from Gamescom, the trailer that Nintendo sowcased at E3, alongside some more lovely screenshots and even more gameplay footage.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will release worldwide exclusively for Nintendo Switch on December 1st, right in time for the Holiday break. Xeno games are fairly long, after all, so that's good timing.
