Monilith Soft released a few more screenshots, artwork and a video of its upcoming JRPG Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

First of all, we meet a new rare blade. Her name is Raiko, obviously from the fact that her powers are electricity based ("Rai" means lightning). She was designed by Asato Mizu and she is voiced by Himika Akaneya. She is definitely cute and comes with a cheerful personality.

Blades are characters that form a symbiotic relationship with the protagonists, named Drivers, and can be both common (with random looks, weapon, and name), and rare, which are named and unique.

We also see the driver named Nia during a cutscene, showing how time progresses dynamically, so even event scenes can be showcased in different conditions, during the day or at night.

You can enjoy the video, art, and screenshots just below, courtesy of Monolith Soft's official Twitter account.

if you want to see more you can also check out a large batch of screenshots from yesterday, showing many more blades, and watch some recent gameplaythe latest trailer, and some more screenshots.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will launch worldwide exclusively for Nintendo Switch on December 1st.
