Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country Expansion Receives a Story Focused Trailer

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country expansion for Nintendo Switch, highlighting its story, which serves as a prequel.

On September 21, Monolith Soft and Nintendo will release Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Countrythe first big expansion for the popular 2017 RPG. Today, a new trailer for the expansion was released that focuses on its characters and story.

For those of you who don’t know, Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country serves as a prequel to Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s main story, set 500 years beforehand. It focuses on Jin, one of the main antagonists of the base game, and shows how is homeland Coeia was destroyed due to the Aegis. On the gameplay side of things, Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country also introduces plenty of new content.

In addition to experiencing the main story, which takes place on a new Titan in the shape of a dragon with new locations, there are a plethora of new playable characters with unique abilities. Players can now also use drivers in addition to blades to modify their typical abilities and arts.
