Xenoblade Ousts Super Mario Galaxy 2 from Top Spot in Japan

Here’s a bit of rather surprising non-E3 news for you: Xenoblade, the new Wii RPG from MonolithSoft, has outsold Super Mario Galaxy 2 this week, and kicked it out of the top spot on the Japanese software charts. Why do we care? Well, for starters, Xenoblade is a game I’ve been following quite closely. Secondly, it’s Mario. After only a couple weeks on the market, Mario loses its top spot to Xenoblade. Not that is is a big deal or anything, as the charts change all the time, but it is still surprising. Perhaps Xenoblade is something to be interested in after all, eh?
