The people publisher behind OwlBoy SOEDESCO has collaborated with 3DClouds to bring us a new past-paced futuristic racing game called Xenon Racer.

The reveal trailer opens up with skyscrapers, advertisement holograms, and aerial vehicles of the year 2030. However, within this new age, there has been a championship organized featuring classic wheeled cars. The international tournament features drivers from across the globe including Italy, Japan, USA, and Great Britain.

We're treated to close-up shots of the sleek electrical vehicles involved as the camera pans around them focusing on their intricate engine systems. From here, we get to see these vehicles in action as the tear along the tarmac of racecourses built in cities like Dubai and Tokyo. The eye-spearing speed here is reminiscent to classic titles such as Midnight Club or Split/Second. As cars trade paint and grind along the barriers in a ruthless attempt to secure first place, we see electrical interference rippling through the player's on-screen HUD.

The gorgeous Xeno Racer looks set to be an exciting and aggressive game where the player is rewarded for taking risks. Although it has no concrete release date as of yet, we do know that it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
