Xperia Play Projected at €649?

Sony Ericsson’s “base” in Spain has clarified “the pricing and availability” of the Xperia Play in Europe. The “PlayStation Phone” will reportedly release on April 1st for 649 Euros. For those illiterate in the values of money, that amount of Euros would roughly be around 900 dollars. Holy sh…crap that is a lot for an android based phone. I know it will host a variety of apps, game playing capabilities, and other features normal phones won’t have but still a price tag near the $1000 range is phenomenal. However, Sony Ericsson Spain’s pricing is for Europe and not the U.S. We’ll surely hear something very soon in regard to the Xperia Play and its official stateside release.

Pretty much your above average gamer who plays games profusely and appreciates them even more. Been gaming since the NES but is in love with anything PlayStation. No I am not a typical fanboy...I appreciate each system for their strengths and recognize their weaknesses. I just love the PS brand. (Think along the lines as someone who likes to read but loves one author in particular). Ever since my time as #2 in the world at Resistance 2, I have taken video games much more seriously. Don't get me wrong, I am a laid back, fun guy to game with...but I always play to win.
