Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z Developer Diary Goes Into the Philosophy Behind the Game

on January 22, 2014 3:56 PM

The first developer diary of Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z has been unleashed. “Bloody Beginnings” is all about what went into making this title and what it hopes to bring to the action game genre.

Although it has the moniker of Ninja Gaiden, Yaiba has very little in common with that series. This title is unique in that it has three different studios developing it. Team Ninja, Comcept and Spark Unlimited came together to create a game that fuses the design sensibilities of the East and West.

Yaiba won’t have the brutal difficulty of a regular Ninja Gaiden game. This will make it more appealing to a bigger audience. The game’s unique art style and East/West design should also help give it a wider appeal.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will be released on the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 on March 04th.
