November 10, 2016

Sega has announced that it will release a downloadable demo for Yakuza 6 in Japan that will let you play up until the first chapter.

The news comes from an announcement by chief producer Masayoshi Yokoyama during a Famitsu live stream. A release date was not divulged, however, with an imminent release, you would imagine the demo will have to come soon.

Yokoyama did reveal that you will be able to carry save data from the demo over to the full release. Additionally, there will be a limit to how high you can level, though the details of this cap were not mentioned.

Yakuza 6 is set to release for PS4 in Japan on December 8th.
