Next Tuesday, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will finally release on PS4 in the west. In order to promote the impending western release, SEGA has released a series of short live action films set in the Yakuza universe on their YouTube channel.

These three short films make up the Stories of the Dragon series, and were created with the help of Director Christopher Ewing and Liquid Advertising. The three short films are titled Chapter 1: The Bouncer, Chapter 2: Another Haruka, and Chapter 3: Prodigal Son. All three of them are based on substories from previous Yakuza games.

Chapter 1: The Bouncer and Chapter 3: Prodigal Son follow up substories that were present in Yakuza Kiwami, while Chapter 2: Another Haruka is based on a substory from Yakuza 5. These films give us a glimpse of where the people involved with those substories are now, while also showing the impact protagonist Kazuma Kiryu had on their lives.

You can check out all three short films below. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will release on PS4 in the west on April 17. If you want to pick the game up for yourself, you can currently pre-order it on Amazon.
