A couple of weeks back, a listing for Yakuza Kiwami 2 on PC via the ESRB seemed to all but confirm that the Dragon of Dojima would once again be headed to a new platform. As of today, this leak has turned out to be true.

Sega announced this morning officially that Yakuza Kiwami 2 is indeed slated to arrive on PC and its release is sooner than you’d think. The game is set to land on May 9, which is a little less than a month away from now. It will also retail for $29.99.

If you’re unfamiliar with Yakuza Kiwami 2, it is a remake of the original Yakuza 2 which released on PS2 back in 2006. Yakuza Kiwami 2 originally launched on PS4 last August and we found it to be fantastic. If you don’t believe me, you can read our review right here.

As for what this PC version of the game will contain, it will give players 4K graphics, unlocked framerates, and a multitude of other graphics options. Those who pre-order now will also be able to gain access to new items, weapons, and outfits for use in the game.

And if you’re worried about it coming to an exclusive digital storefront, then worry no longer. Yakuza Kiwami 2’s listing is already live on Steam if you want to head over and purchase the title or learn more right now.
