PC preferring fans of the Yakuza series can rejoice -- Yakuza Kiwami 2 seems to have been listed for PC release by an official content rating from the ESRB. While the content rating itself is worth a look-through, just to get an idea of what a game like this looks like to people not fully invested in the world of Yakuza, the meat of this reveal is that we now have concrete evidence of this title finally coming to PC.

Hopefully, Kiwami 2's Dragon Engine translates well to PC, which done well would give us some noticeable framerate and resolution improvements.

If you've never dabbled in the original Yakuza 2 or its PS4 remake Yakuza Kiwami 2, check out some of these awesome trailers showcasing the game in all its (crazy) glory. The first one features the "forbidden romance" between detective Kaoru Sayama of the Osaka Police Department and Yakuza protagonist Kazuma Kiryu. The second is the most Goro Majima launch trailer a fan could ever ask for.

Then there's also the extended announcement trailer, which was presented at an art exhibition dedicated to the then-upcoming Yakuza 6, showing Kazuma Kiryu and Ryuki Goda facing off, featuring some of Kiryu's (and the game's) coolest moments.

While ESRB ratings are never a "sure-fire" proof that something is planning to launch, it is always a good indicator. For example. Scott Cawthon applied for an ESRB rating for Five Night at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted (before making the organization remove the information), and a couple of weeks later the game was formally revealed in the PlayStation State of Play event.

But if you need proof of how great this game is and why you should add it to your PC collection, look no further than DualShockers' own glowing review of the title. Not only given a near perfect score but also states that Yakuza Kiwami 2 "sets a new and very high bar of how a remake should be done." There is no official word on when Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be coming to PC, but it is available now exclusively on PS4.
