Sega revealed some incentives to those who are planning on picking up Yakuza Kiwami when it releases for PlayStation 4 on August 29 in the west.

By accessing the PSN store on PS4, players can now digitally pre-order Yakuza Kiwami to make sure they have it as soon as the game is available. This grants early adopters a special theme featuring the tough and intimidating cast of the game, Kazuma Kiryu and Akira Nishikiyama.

The game will also launch as a physical edition with a Steelbook, but some players prefer to go digital only.

Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the original Yakuza title for the PlayStation 2. The game follows Kazuma Kiryu, whose life changes after events that require him to fight back against people he once called friend.

The game has been completely remade to show off updated graphics and systems that were introduced in the prequel, Yakuza 0. There are improved textures, loading times, and a large amount of mini-games as well as extra activities for fans of the series to jump back in and replay the game as a new experience.  Additionally, the story has been reworked to clear up some confusing plot points.
