Not that you were looking for another excuse to play Yakuza: Like a Dragon, but the launch trailer Sega dropped today is a beauty. It'd be really hard to make one of the year's best games look bad. So, it's not surprising this trailer knocked it out of the park. What might be surprising is just how much the trailer shows. Now, we've known most of this for a while, but if you're looking to go in blind, maybe skip the end. If you don't care though, there's something very exciting waiting for you. Check it out below.

With Ini Kamoze's "Here Comes the Hotstepper" backing it up this trailer gives a great look at what makes Yakuza: Like a Dragon so great. You get some setup for what is a wild romp through the streets of Yokohoma to start it off. Then it just immediately dovetails into all the crazy shenanigans that make the Yakuza series the best franchise in gaming.

You get to see your homeless pal Nanba calling in a city's worth of pigeons to attack his enemies. There's a crab summons. At one point there's a group of dudes in diapers and Ichiban is drinking what I can only assume is breastmilk. I haven't gotten around to finishing this sidequest, but it seems pretty clear. Heck, there's even some shots of the squad doing their best KISS impression. Truly, there's something here for everybody.

Please do yourself a favor and pick up Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Our reviewer loved it, and I'm probably hotter on it than even he is. The game is available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. PS5 owners will have to wait until March 2.
