Kazuma Kiryu makes a festive face just above (that's his festive face, yeah), as Sega announced today with a press release that Yakuza Zero sold 500,000 copies between Japan and Asia on PS4 and PS3.

The announcement also mentioned that the new milestone has brought the whole series over 7.5 million copies sold worldwide. This happens just in time for the franchise's 10th anniversary, that will come on December 8th, and the press release encourages to stay tuned for further news about that.

Now, if only Sega took this as a clear signal that they should really release this game in the west in a timely manner, possibly with a decent marketing to back it up, for once... I know, fat chance, but a man can dream, can't he?
