Today a new video about the upcoming Yandere Simulator was released, and it's all about the game's character models.

Developer "Yanderedev" talks on how he's not satisfied with the current character model, bringing up two recent games that served as learning material, Persona 5 and Blue Reflection.

We also get to see a quite gruesome scene featuring one of the ways rival Osana can meet her end, and learn that character models might be modified to look less childlike, representing young adults more faithfully.

While Yanderedev doubts that he'd go towards a more realistic route, as realistic faces are less flexible, he could opt for something similar to Danganronpa or Persona, possibly with flexible face models that can be heavily customized, and modular hairstyles for additional variety.
