While the Yo-Kai Watch series never caught on in the West like it did in Japan, that isn't stopping Nintendo from bringing more titles in the series to North America and Europe. Today, they revealed that co-op action titles Yo-Kai Watch Blasters: Red Cat Corps and Yo-Kai Watch Blasters: White Dog Squad will be releasing on Nintendo 3DS on September 7.

As one could probably tell from the games be described as "co-op action titles," these entries will be quite different from the typical RPG elements the series established itself on. Instead, Yo-Kai Watch Blasters allows players to team with three other friends, both locally and online, as the titular creatures to take on giant bosses in real time battles.

The game is set to feature over 400 playable Yo-kai, each of which has their own strengths, weaknesses, skills, and Soultimate moves. The Yo-kai can also be trained outside of battle and set up with personal equipment and items.

As you can see, there are two different versions of Yo-Kai Watch Blasters, and each will have their own exclusive Yo-kai, missions, and bosses. Connecting Yo-Kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits, Fleshy Souls, or Psychic Specters will also grant players three special Yo-kai. The game will also be receiving post launch support that will add a lot of new content to the game for free.
