This August 2, Genshin Impact is about to launch a new banner rerun for Yoimiya and her signature 5-Star weapon Thundering Pulse. As always when it comes to gacha banners happening in the middle of a Version, the release time for each server will differ. This is a different situation from banners released after maintenance, where all servers get the banner at the same time.
HoYoverse announced that the Yoimiya banner rerun will start at “18:00 Server Time†on August 2, 2022. The Genshin Impact North American server's "Server Time" is currently set one hour behind ET. This means the Yoimiya banner rerun will start at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT on the North American server. Click here to access a countdown to her rerun.
Meanwhile, players on the Asian and HK servers will get the banner before everyone else starting 6 AM ET. This is why you'll see players sharing their pulls and celebrating becoming Yoimiya havers on Twitter long before the banner will be available for you. As for the European server, the banner will start at 1 PM EST. In other words American players are always the last ones to get mid-Version banners.
Note that Yoimiya's signature weapon, the Thundering Pulse, will get a rerun banner at the same time as well. Personally speaking, I don't recommend ever pulling 5-Star weapons in Genshin if you're a F2P, as there are many 4-Star weapons that do the job well enough. With that said Thundering Pulse is by far the perfect bow for Yoimiya if you also give her 4 Shimenawa's Reminiscence artifacts with good sub stats. I had the money, and Yoimiya is one of my favorite Genshin characters, be it her personality, charadesign, and how she's voiced by Kana Ueda (Tohsaka Rin in Fate), so I personally swiped for a Thundering Pulse. But I wouldn't recommend it.
I would also recommend saving your Primos for future Sumeru characters. The new region will be releasing in three weeks now on August 24, 2022. I haven't been pulling anything for months now, waiting to get some Dendro into my veins.
