Level-5 announced with a press release that the next games in its popular Yo-kai Watch and Inazuma Eleven franchises are getting pushed back in Japan.

Yo-kai Watch 4 was initially scheduled to release for Nintendo Switch in Winter 2018 in Japan. It was now pushed back to Spring 2019. According to Level-5, this is in order to "further enhance the game's quality and ensure everyone will enjoy the game".

Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin is planned for Switch, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android. The game was first announced in 2016 for a 2017 release, but then got pushed back to Summer 2018, Fall, and now was pushed back once again, to Winter 2019. The reason given by Level-5 for the delay is the exact same one as Yo-kai Watch 4.

To give you an idea of how late the Inazuma Ares game is, the anime adaptation tie-in just finished airing in Japan this October, though another season started right after.

Both Inazuma Eleven Ares and Yo-kai Watch 4 have no release announced for the west. Yo-kai Watch 3, however, will release for Nintendo 3DS on February 2019 in North America and Winter 2019 in Europe.
