Today, NIS America revealed a new trailer for Yomawari: The Long Night Collection. The game is a compilation for Switch that includes Yomawari: Night Alone which released for PS Vita and PC, and its sequel, Yowamari Midnight Shadows which is available on these same platforms plus PS4.

The trailer shows the introduction leading to the events of the first game. A little girl in the middle of the night suddenly gets separated from her big sister after she instructed her to hide and to not open her eyes. The player controls the little girl and must find back her big sister, exploring the town populated by terrifying monsters.

I probably won't be getting this myself as while I'm a huge fan of Higurashi, which is a typical Japanese horror story like Yomawari, I actually can't stand horror. Especially Yomawari's kind with jump scares. If you're braver than me, in order to get a good idea of the games, you can read our reviews: here's the one for Night Alone, and here's the one for Midnight Shadows.

Yomawari: The Long Night Collection was announced at the end of May with a first trailer. You can watch the new trailer below. The game will release for Switch on October 26th in Europe and October 30th in North America.
