Yooka-Laylee Adds its First Supporting Character in the Form of a Snake Wearing Shorts

While the Yooka-Laylee Kickstarter rages on, the team at Playtonic Games have been hard at work on the game and today unveiled one of the game’s supporting characters in the form of Trowzer, a snake that is indeed wearing shorts.

Trowzer is a merchant of sorts in the game from whom you can buy new moves, which he will of course clumsily demonstrate for you. He represents the game’s first revealed side character.

Yooka-Laylee‘s Kickstarter is still raging on hitting stretch goals as fast as Playtonic can make them and currently stands at about $2.35 million with more than a month to go before the Kickstarter ends.

Spiritual successors seem to be all the rage on Kickstarter what with Mega Man, Banjo-Kazooie, and now Castlevania all getting successors using the platform.

I’ll leave you with an image of Trowzer and let you enjoy him in all his short-wearing glory.
