Today Gust released a large batch of screenshots of Yoru no Nai Kuni, the new JRPG for PS4, Ps3 and PS Vita that will hit the Japanese shelves on August 27th.

The screenshots showcase the abilities that the protagonist Anas can use to fight their enemies, and they're quite peculiar. She can summon demons and control them in battle, and she also can attack on her own using different weapons, also using combos.

Using combos fills up a transformation meter, and when it's full she can use the powers of her demons to transform into a demon herself.

When transformed Anas' attacks have a bigger range, faster and deal more damage. Her demons get stronger as well. The actual form of the transformation will depend on which demons Anas has summoned at any given time.

Anas can also use different weapons, created by her own blood, including swords, rifles and hammers. More types are unlocked as she progresses through the game.

The screenshots also introduce two different summonable demons, the Wood Golem and Bisque, and two new characters, Christophoros and Simon.

Christophoros is basically this game's take on the phantom of the opera, and she often helps Anas, even if her reasons are unknown. Simon is the manager of a hotel owned by the Holy See, and acts as moral support for Anas.
