You Can Have Multiple PSN Accounts On One Vita After All

on December 8, 2011 3:30 PM

We reported earlier this week that the PlayStation Vita will only support one PlayStation Network account per system. Well, here’s a bit of clarification from Sony Computer Entertainment of America:

“Your PSN ID is bonded to your memory card and your memory card is bonded to your Vita,”┬áSony associate brand marketing manager Crystal MacKenzie told Wired.

So there you have it: the Vita will, indeed, allow you to have multiple PSN accounts, you’ll just need a different proprietary memory card for each one. Looks like you’ll be able to download international releases with a bit less hassle. Users will also be able to format the card in order to switch which account is affiliated with it.
