You Can Now Play Through a Third of Both Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light for Free on PS4 and Xbox One

June 2, 2015

Today Deep Silver announced they would be expanding the free trials of the Redux versions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light on both Xbox One and PS4.

The newly expanded free trials will now allow you to play through the first eight chapters of 2033, and the first nine chapters of Last Light.

The chapters available represent “about one-third of the total game” for both 2033 and Last Light according to Deep Silver. On top of that, should players decide to purchase the full version of the game after playing through the trial, all their save progress will transfer over to the full games.

Alongside the announcement of the expanded trials, Deep Silver also stated that the Metro Redux compilation on PS4 and Xbox One has surpassed the total sales of Last Light on PS3 and Xbox 360 “an unprecedented feat for any remaster.”
