Charlize Theron is known to be one of the greatest actors of our time, and has won three Oscars during her career.

The actor has continued to show her diversity in her professional portfolio by undertaking a variety of roles, including Imperator Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road and her most recent role as Cipher in F9.

Theron has yet to make her debut in the MCU or DCEU, but thanks to one artist, we now know what she could look like as one of Gotham’s charismatic villains.

Charlize Theron as Poison Ivy

19-year-old artist Jaxon Derr has created a rustic mockup of Theron embodying the toxic Poison Ivy.

Using fellow artist William Gray’s artistic format as inspiration, Derr has produced a front-facing portrait of the red-haired Pamela Isley, bathed in green and Autumn leaves.

The character design also has the tips of vines poking through her voluminous hair, with fiery eyes built to corrupt the Caped Crusader.

Theron definitely has the acting chops and seductive qualities to pull off Poison Ivy’s demeanor with ease, but she’s not the only candidate that DC fans are eyeing for the role.

Who Else Could Play Poison Ivy?

Knives Out star Ana De Armas has also been the subject of Posion Ivy fan art.

Armas had a similar design to Theron’s, where her green skin lined with leaf veins were on show. However, Armas’ design was much more subtle.

Other actors who have been tipped to play the iconic villain include Jessica Chastain, Evan Rachel Wood and Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer.

Uma Thurman is the most recognizable live-action portrayal of Poison Ivy, who appeared in Joel Schumacher’s 1997 adaptation Batman & Robin.

The character is rumored to be reappearing in Matt Reeves’ sequel to 2022’s The Batman with Robert Pattinson, and fans are looking forward to seeing who DC casts next.
