NIS America announced that the Falcom developed action adventure title Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will release on PC on January 30.

The PC release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will include the localization revisions that the team has been working on since NISA president Takuro Yamashita released a statement last October. After looking at the localization quality of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana the publisher decided to return to the title and rewrite the entire script as well as re-record the spoken dialog.

Additionally, the localization revisions include improvements to the overall quality of the game's script and adjustments to graphical text. These updates will be applied to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana via an update on January 30.

The PC version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will also have free DLC available until February 6 10:00 am PST:
