Back in July, during San Diego Comic-Con, Konami began teasing that a Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's world would be coming to the Duel Links mobile game. Now, a little more than three months later, players can finally "rev it up," as characters, cards, and storylines from the anime's second spin-off have been added to the game, much to the excitement of fans like myself.

With this update, players will be able to duel against and play as famous 5D's characters like Yusei Fudo, Jack Atlas, Crow Hogan, Akiza Izinski (Aki Izayoi in the Japanese version), Leo (Lua in the Japanese version), and Luna (Luca in the Japanese version). And just like the other worlds in the game, every single voice actor and actress from the anime reprise their roles.

The most notable addition with this update, however, is the ability to Synchro Summon, which was the extra deck summoning method to be added to the game. To do so, players need to use Tuner monsters and normal monsters who levels equal those of the white Synchro monster they are trying to summon.

To celebrate the announcement of the update, two trailers were released, one in English and one in Japanese, however, they are drastically different trailers, so you may want to watch both.  You can check them both out at the end of the article.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links is available right now on iOS and Android devices, as well as PC.
