As you probably know by then, since it's been months, Yusuke Hashimoto announced he left PlatinumGames in early 2019. He mentioned back then that he would "take the experiences I gained at Platinum and use them on whatever I work on in the future.”. Well, September 24 marks the day where we learned what's he's been up to.

Yusuke Hashimoto tweeted this concept artwork, revealing it's for a new original project. The artist is Tatsuya Yoshikawa, who in the past worked at Capcom and handled Breath of Fire's character design and illustrations. He did illustrations for other Capcom games like Megaman X and Devil May Cry as well.

As Yusuke Hashimoto also used to work at Capcom, the pair have known each other for decades. Tatsuya Yoshikawa also illustrated Star Fox Zero on Wii U, which was directed by Hashimoto at Platinum.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought about Panzer Dragoon when seeing this concept art. We still don't know anything about Hashimoto's project though, so maybe it'll turn out into something completely different. In any case, DualShockers will be sure to report about it when we learn more, with as many details as possible.
