Today Spike Chunsoft released a batch of screenshots of its upcoming JRPG Zanki Zero: Last Beginning.

The screenshots show the exploration of the ruins available in the game's world. With each chapter, the point of view changes to a different character, and the ruins that will be explored are relevant to the story of that character, allowing the player to find more about them, including past traumas they experienced.

Inside the ruins, they'll find more survivors, but those aren't actual people. They're warped monsters named "creatures." They're dangerous and hostile, aiming to kill the playable characters.

We'll also find several gimmicks, including a door that can be open only if all eight characters have survived, pressure switch installed on the floors, and small holes that can only fit characters in their childhood.

You can check out the screenshots below. If you want to see more, you can also check out a previous batch of images.

Zanki Zero: Last Beginning will release in Japan on July 15th for PS4 and PS Vita, while the west will get the game at a yet unannounced date for PS4 and PC.
