Nintendo fans were finally greeted nearly two weeks ago with the long-awaited and massive The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and now fans can get a closer look at the making of the profound epic with a series of new behind-the-scenes videos.

As announced by Nintendo yesterday, a three-part series called "The Making of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" has been released on the company's official YouTube channel. Specifically, each part of the video series tackles an aspect of the game from the viewpoint of the developers - the conception and beginning of development, the game's story and characters, and finally the "open-air" concept of the game's world and environments, including interviews with many of the series' creative leads like Eiji Aonuma.

Overall, the mini-documentary adds up to about 30 minutes, so there is plenty of opportunity for fans of the series to learn more about what went into the making of the most massive Legend of Zelda game yet, and one of the largest-scoped games Nintendo has made yet.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now for Nintendo Switch and Wii U - for a closer look at the game's development, you can watch Nintendo's Making Of series below:
