The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will have players playing through many of the side quests available. Some of these quests give incredible rewards, others not so much. This quest will need to be completed before another, much longer quest can be completed.
This makes it serve more as a stepping stone, but it does give you some fun little exploration to partake in by traveling through sandy caverns with water flowing through them.
Initiating The Quest
Head on over to the Mayatat Shrine. If you are not familiar with where it is located or just cannot recall, it is located in the Gerudo Desert. You will find it situated between the Great Cliffs and Palu Wasteland; once you have reached this shrine, head to the Kara Kara Bazaar.
Look at your minimap, and you will pass each of the markers on it, with these markers on your left. Turn at the last marker, and you will see three NPCs. There is also an orb at the bottom of a tree near them. This orb will be used for another quest called The Mysterious Eighth. Talk to these NPCs to receive the quest.
Discovering The Oasis Source
After all the dialog has concluded, you will see a marker on your map for the quest. Head directly in the direction of this marker, climbing over any obstacles in your way. You will see a large stone structure. Run up to it and then turn left. Run Straight, and you will come to a large circular sinkhole of sand. Jump into this sinkhole, and it will drop you down to a lower level. This will be the Oasis Source.
Clearing The Oasis
Run uphill through the tunnel you find yourself in, and you will find an NPC that is sitting on the ground. Talk to this NPC, and it will update the quest. Run past this NPC with them on your right; you will go into some water and under a natural stone archway. Follow the wall on your right, and you will see a wall you can break down. Use either bomb flowers or fashion a heavy rock at the end of your sword using the fusion mechanic.
Break down this wall and press forward, keeping to the left wall this time. You will come to another wall to break down. You will come to a larger area, but directly ahead of you will be more cracked walls that are bluer in color. Cross through the larger area towards these blue cracked walls and destroy them with the same method as the cracked walls from before.
Completing The Quest
Follow the tunnel you have made forward. It bends to the left and right, but there are no branching paths, so keep just pressing on forward, and you will see a ladder. This ladder will lead you back up to the Kara Kara Bazaar. Head back to the three NPCs and speak with them to complete the quest.
