Zenless Zone Zero Frenetic Action Gameplay Revealed At Summer Game Fest 2022

For now it seemed as if all characters in Zenless Zone Zero were always part of a team lore-wise. However, after showing the silhouettes of several characters part of the same team, this new trailer focused mainly on Soldier 11, who seems to be part of a solo team. She's a sword wielding character, with speedy movements that allow her to unleash flurries of sword slashes at her opponents. She can also infuse her sword with flames and use fire-based attacks.

Soldier 11 is also shown deflecting bullets with her sword and evading bullets while running at high speed. It's unknown at the moment if this is a special action specific to Soldier 11 or if any character can deflect ranged attacks to a certain extent.

You can watch the new trailer below. At the moment all Zenless Zone Zero trailers, even the English versions, are always dubbed in Japanese. Be sure to activate the closed captions.

The final scene in the trailer also teases several more characters to be revealed. It's safe to assume each "Unknown" screen is an unrevealed character.

HoYoverse teased that it had at least one more game in development besides Honkai Star Rail back in April. Zenless Zone Zero was then announced by HoYoverse back on May 13.
