Kotaro Uchikoshi teases a new project, code named Psync.

March 2, 2017

During the Spike Chunsoft press event at GDC 2017, that DualShockers attended, Zero Escape series director Kotaro Uchikoshi revealed his new title, code-named Project: Psync.

The creator mentioned during the presentation that everything he can enjoy in life is due to the success of the Zero Escape series. He also gives thanks to the fans and his colleagues. He recounts how he’s been working on the series for a quarter of his life and love the series.

However, all the creator shared was a single teaser image that you can see at the top of the post.

Kotaro Uchikoshi is well known for his Zero Escape series, started in 2009, with Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, and then continued in 2012 with Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward and in 2016 with Zero Time Dilemma.

While the teaser image could easily fit the general tone of Uchikoshi’s previous work, we don’t know whether the new game will be similar, or a complete departure, and we’ll have to wait for further information.
