TakaraTomy, via the official Zoids Japanese Twitter account, officially revealed Zoids Wild Infinity Blast, coming to Nintendo Switch in Japan, Winter 2020. The game was first teased a few weeks ago. This sequel will include new Zoids such as Rising Liger, along with extensive Zoids customization, making it a much bigger game content wise than the previous entry.Like its predecessor, Zoids Wild Infinity Blast will be a 3D fighting game with Zoids and their pilots challenging each other.

More information is included in the Corocoro magazine issue released on July 15.

The Zoids Wild project was first announced in February 2018 along with an anime, a manga adaptation, and a mobile game. The first TV anime season aired from July 7, 2018, to June 6, 2019. A new season called Zoids Wild Zero started on October 4, 2019. The anime, like many other Japanese productions, paused with the Covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic is far from being over yet, but like many other things, it restarted. On June 19 to be precise. An arcade game titled Zoids Wild Battle Card Hunter is also ongoing in Japan.

The previous game, Zoids Wild: King of Blast, released on February 28, 2019 in Japan, on Switch. It was also announced outside Japan. It will be renamed Zoids Wild: Blast Unleashed. Outright games announced it in July 2020, and the game will be launching on October 16, 2020, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. If this western endeavor works and sells well, we should probably see  Zoids Wild Infinity Blast getting localized later on. As it's all about money at the end of the day.
