Zombie Army 4: Dead War will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on February 4, 2020. While Nintendo Switch owners will be missing out on this brand new game, Rebellion revealed today that Zombie Army Trilogy will be making its way onto Nintendo's hybrid system in the first half of 2020.

This port isn't too surprising as Rebellion has made a more concerted effort to release Sniper Elite games on Nintendo Switch recently. This year, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered and Sniper Elite 3: Ultimate Edition came to Nintendo's popular platform. Considering that this is a spin-off built on the back of those Sniper Elite games, it was fairly obvious that Rebellion would pursue this port at some point. Zombie Army Trilogy originally released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2015.

According to Rebellion, this port will contain everything from the original version plus a few new enhancements. Borrowing embellishments from previous Sniper Elite ports for Switch, this version of Zombie Army Trilogy will feature local wireless multiplayer for up to four players, HD Rumble, motion controls and Pro Controller support. The Nintendo Switch doesn't have many zombie games like this, so this game should be a good addition to the system's ever-growing library of ports.

Below, you can see some new screenshots showcasing the Nintendo Switch port. While the Switch version of Zombie Army Trilogy only has a vague "first half of 2020" release window, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is less than two months away and can be pre-ordered on Amazon.
