Zombie Studios Delays Release of Daylight Till Late April, Second Trailer Released

By Peter Nolan-Smith

April 2, 2014

Originally slated for release on April 8, Zombie Studio’s horror themed title, Daylight, will now launch three weeks later, on April 29.

According to publisher Atlus “it’s taken extra time to make sure all the scare cues are properly implemented for maximum player effect.” In other words, they want it to be scarier. The game will generate rooms and the experience differently each time, making no playthrough exactly alike.

In the wake of delay announcements they also have announced a discount. For those who pre-order on PC or subscribe to PlayStation Plus Daylight will initially only cost $9.99, for non-subscribers it will be $11.99. After the end of the promotional period the game will still only set you back $14.99.

A new trailer, entitled, “Somebody’s Watching Me,” was also released today.
